About
Shenole Latimer
Motivational Speaker | Author
My life has been a vibrant melody of music, education, technology, and now, motivational speaking. For over 20 years, I lived my dream as a professional musician, touring the country with jazz concerts and my educational program, “What’s All That Jazz About?”. I enjoyed sharing my love of music everywhere I went. In 2013, I became the Education Director for the East End Arts Council on Long Island, and dove deeper into arts advocacy.
But, in 2015 after moving to Florida, I began noticing some physical challenges. I decided to embrace a new quest: learning to code. I taught myself web and software development, proving that adaptability is key to navigating life’s twists and turns. This journey into the tech world was exciting, but in 2022, I received a life-altering diagnosis: Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.
While MS has changed my physical landscape, it hasn’t dimmed my inner light. I thrive by using my optimism, drive, and uncommon adaptability to navigate the unpredictable nature of my symptoms. I see life as a grand quest, and I’m determined to ignite that quest with every ounce of my being.
Now, I share my experiences as a motivational speaker, inspiring others to thrive, no matter the challenges they face. If my story can help someone else find their own inner strength and chase their dreams, then my journey has even greater purpose. I believe everyone has a unique quest waiting to be ignited, and I’m here to help them find their spark.
